In September, Glory Reborn dedicated the month to focusing on healthy relationships, as part of our ongoing mission to nurture Healthy Families and Hopeful Hearts. Prayerfully and practically, we took time to sow into the relationships within our team, the families we serve, and our greater family, the Body of Christ. I am delighted to share with you the testimony of healthy relationships and healthy families that were born this past month.
“My husband will be a great father,” Mommy Tes declared. “He’s rooted in the Word of God, encourages me, and prays for our family. Because of him, my faith grew stronger. Now, we speak affirmations over our baby.”
Before they got married, Tes was told that she may have difficulty getting pregnant. It was a difficult diagnosis for Tes and her husband to carry, yet with faith, they continued to trust in God’s timing and hold onto their dream of having a family.
Feeling unwell one day, a friend asked Tes, “What if you’re pregnant?”
And she was. A precious miracle life was growing in her womb. As a couple they thanked God for the incredible blessing they had received. Next they began to look for a care provider for their miracle.
Mommy Tes heard about Glory Reborn through a colleague, and when she visited the clinic, she found herself saying, “Lord, I want to give birth here.”
Though the clinic caters only to low-risk pregnancies, she brought her prayer request to God: “Lord, I will still try.” Under the care of Glory Reborn’s doctors, Tes enrolled and received prenatal care, laboratories, ultrasound, vitamins, health education, social work assistance, mental wellness check-ins and prayer times with the ministry team.
During her labor, with the same attitude of faith and the atmosphere of praise and prayer, her miracle moment-a miracle life arrived, safely, healthy, and crying out the praise of Jesus with his first breath! JOY!

It was a true honor and delight to have the Heart For The World Team model and teach the Healthy Relationships curriculum to Glory Reborn staff and partners.
Over 100 participants were nurtured in their relationships as individuals and couples. We are deeply grateful that the new program of Healthy Relationships started with our own team, their spouses, and our dedicated ministry partners. We are excited to launch this ministry program to the moms and dads growing healthy families at Glory Reborn.
Greetings from Cebu! Even as the ground may shake, our hearts remain steadfast. For in Christ, peace is unshaken, life is born, and wisdom stands firm.
On September 30th at 9:59 PM Philippine time, Cebu experienced a 6.9 magnitude earthquake. We want to take a moment to thank the Lord for His protection and extend our heartfelt updates to you, our beloved friends.
First, we are deeply grateful to everyone around the world who immediately reached out in prayer on our behalf. Thank you for praying for us and checking on us. By God’s goodness, all Glory Reborn staff members are safe.
Friends, I just have to tell you that our team is amazing! They continued to serve in peace, wisdom and uphold safety and quality in the midst of this shaking. We are so proud of Christ in them and their genuine heart and dedication to safe and gentle care that keeps Jesus at the center. Thank you for investing in them. Thank you for providing them with training and covering them in prayer.
In the midst of the earthquake and heavy rains on the night of September 30, three precious babies were born. A cry of LIFE and HOPE that echoed so powerful through the darkness of the night.
During and after the earthquake Glory Reborn remained open to serve our community and bring the peace of Jesus. Our ministry and mental wellness team have continued to make themselves available for prayer, debriefing and processing of those in need. We stand in confidence and in peace in the One who never fails, who gives life and who is our ever present help in times of need.
Over the week that followed the earthquake Glory Reborn together with incredible partners (shout out to Symph Team and Flying Tigers Express) we have sent hundreds of mother and baby kits, water, medicines, Bibles and more to the earthquake affected areas. This is just the start as we work towards sending in prayer, worship and counseling teams in the weeks ahead.
Friends, we humbly ask for your continued prayers that are powerfully at work especially during these unexpected life moments. Your faithful support, care and love mean so much to us, and we are forever grateful to have you standing with us as we continue to nurture Healthy Families and Hopeful Hearts in Cebu.
