Mommy Sha grew up active in church, serving faithfully for 12 years. A proud daddy’s girl, she lovingly cared for her sick father until he passed away. She holds on to the belief that “prayer is powerful in the healing of yourself” and that she has “never felt neglected by God.”
When she first stepped into Glory Reborn, she felt "warmly welcomed". In her words, “Their kindness is different-- not just for yourself, but for your baby, too. Glory Reborn is a place that reminds you that you are not alone, because they are here, and God is here.”
Even though she hasn’t been as active in church lately, Mommy Sha believes God is leading her, and He has led her here. “He guided me to Glory Reborn, where there’s a lot of wisdom. When you come here, you’ll be relieved of whatever problems you have.” Hallelujah! We are so grateful for our ministry director who ensures prayer moments with each of our mommies pointing them back to the source of wisdom and hope-Jesus. This is the true heart of Glory Reborn, to provide mothers and families with not just gentle, quality care but to nurture their spiritual well-being.
Now with her baby safely and wonderfully cuddled in her arms, Mommy Sha is finding hope, healing and the life of Jesus back into her heart and family. She is eager to raise this precious baby in God’s truth and anointing just has her late father raised her. What a beautiful picture of God’s glory re-born from generation to generation.

Glory Reborn values investing in health education for our pregnant mommies as we aim to nurture Healthy Families and Hopeful Hearts.
Recently the Philippines celebrated Nutrition Month and Glory Reborn eagerly joined in the celebration! In partnership with our local church, Citichurch, we were blessed to offer fresh fruits and vegetables to mothers as they came for their checkups. We also extended the celebration into our partner neighborhoods taking health education classes and the free “Mommy Market” into the communities around us bringing food diversity and awareness of nutrition to nurture growing babies.
Our ministry director enlightened everyone with the Biblical principles of nutrition, God’s provision, and caring for the body He has entrusted to us. It was beautiful to see the Biblical bases of nutrition come together with practical tips, recipes and provision of prenatal vitamins, healthy snacks and fresh fruits and veggies. How wonderful is our Jesus who brings all things back to His glory!
A mom attending the class expressed, “It’s cool having events like this. Even just listening makes me pause, think, and want to eat healthy and take better care of myself and my family.”
Our prayer is that every family who comes to Glory Reborn would “Grow Gloriously Healthy” in body, mind and spirit as we nurture physical, mental, social, occupational and spiritual wellness. Glory Reborn and Hilary are active members in the Cebu City Nutrition Network harmonizing multisectoral efforts to improve early childhood health and nutrition outcomes in Cebu City. It has been such an amazing partnership and opportunity to connect with government leaders and private Organizations who are collaborating together to improve the health of our next generation. We are looking forward to more local activities in Cebu for nutrition and breastfeeding support in the months ahead.

During a baby follow up appointment Mommy Ver shared, “I am very happy and content; there is nothing else I can ask for.” Mommy Ver, a mom of three, with her third baby at 6 months old.
Mommy Ver held a quiet confidence and steadiness that comes from having a peaceful stable household that she and her husband have faithfully sown into together. Ver shared that their family is far from being financially wealthy, but she has never felt lack because God consistently provided, and she rests secure in the fact that her husband has always been good to her.
“It’s nice here [at Glory Reborn] because they pray for you. I often pray to God for strength. As my children rely on me for strength, I rely on Him [Jesus].” My kids know how to pray now. They lead our prayer time before meals and bed. They’re also very responsible. One time, while I was doing laundry, my child hugged me from behind, saying, ‘Thank you, mama, for all the things you do for us.’ It warms my heart.”
“I didn’t dream of having any of these, but God has just blessed me with so much.” She shared further, “I’ve noticed that in life, the more grateful you are, the more blessings pour in.”
Mommy Ver went on to recall that her baby didn’t initially reach the ideal weight. Thanks to our faithful partner Citichurch, who faithfully gives fresh fruits and vegetables to the mothers of Glory Reborn, healthy starts are possible for growing babies. Mommy Ver testified, “I kept eating fruits and veggies so that it would get passed on to my baby. Glory Reborn has given us so much! I did what Glory taught me too— eating healthy, taking the vitamins they gave me, and exercising. My baby’s weight gradually increased, and I was so happy. Glory Reborn is my third partner— you didn’t let go of us, and you did not leave us on our own. It’s been six months, and my baby is very healthy.”
How very grateful we are for Jesus who brings health into our bodies, our hearts, our minds and our families. Mommy Ver so powerful represents the vision of Glory Reborn to birth generations of healthy families, hopeful hearts, and empowered communities through transformative care, education, partnership and discipleship in Christ.
