What an exciting month this has been celebrating the glorious birth of baby #7000 at Glory Reborn!
Mommy Edge’s firstborn, Glory Reborn’s 7,000th baby!
Zalen. A name chosen with love and purpose. Mommy Edge shared that they named their baby Zalen with the desire to be supportive parents and give their son the freedom to follow what God has anointed them to do.
Reflecting on her labor and birth experience, Mommy Edge shared—“It’s the greatest pain ever. The feeling is so light when you’re here [at Glory Reborn]. I felt like a new person.” Holding baby Zalen in her arms Mommy Edge softly said, “Rebirth sad si mama.” (A rebirth for mama, too.)
Baby #7000 is such a wonderful milestone for this precious family and to our Glory Reborn family all around the world. Together, we have witnessed the faithfulness of God, the prayers and support of partners and life abundantly.
Personally as I reflect on baby #7000 I am humbled at what Jesus has done through each of YOU, our incredible team in Cebu and the active, living global Church at work ushering in new LIFE abundantly.
Mommy Edge is just 22 years old—the same age I was when Glory Reborn began and as we celebrate Glory Reborn’s 22nd year I am humbly reminded what God does when we say “YES” to following Him.
As I think about this precious new life and the world that we live in today I am reminded of the verse, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Though our world is facing troubles a new generation is rising up with a spirit to bring freedom through Christ. It is by no chance that baby Zalen bears his name meaning “free spirit”. May he carry with his generation a spirit of the freedom Christ brings to many hearts.

Truly as we celebrate 7,000 precious miracles being born at Glory Reborn, this echoes our heart song of the faithfulness, life, and promises of God birthed. Jesus you are worthy and deserve all the praise, glory and honor!
At Glory Reborn, our heart has been to nurture healthy families and hopeful hearts. While our daily work centers on caring for moms and babies, we also believe that strong, loving fathers are vital to building a truly healthy home.
We are delighted to see our dad’s support group continue to grow as daddies receive Biblical encouragement to lead in their homes. In June as we celebrated Father’s day, Glory Reborn held a special celebration to honor and uplift the amazing dads.
Our Father’s day theme was “Pagpangga ni Papa, Kalipay sa Pamilya”—A father's love is the family's joy. It beautifully reflects the truth that a father’s love doesn’t just support the family—it brings joy, stability, and a sense of peace to the entire home.
At Glory Reborn, we believe that caring for families means caring for the whole person—physically, mentally, and spiritually. And fathers play a key role in that wholeness. In fact, the Bible calls fathers to be servant-leaders—men who love sacrificially (Ephesians 5:25), guide with wisdom (Proverbs 22:6), and discipline in love (Hebrews 12:7–10).
It was a beautiful day celebrating dads and witnessing our clinic filled with laughter, stories, and special moments with dads and dads to be. The special day even included hair cuts from a partner barbershop.
One dad, with a big grin on his face, came back to the clinic that same day with a fresh haircut and proudly shared, “Niadto nako Ma’am para mas mo gwapo na dayun!” (I already went to claim it so I would look even more handsome!) His wife laughed along, a reminder of the light moments that keep families strong during this season of anticipation and change.
I so appreciate all the teams at Glory Reborn who work to make sure each and every person who comes into our humble clinic leaves feeling valuable, even if it’s through a new haircut.
Nurturing dads continues at Glory Reborn beyond Father’s day as we continue to offer sessions especially for expecting dads and dads of newborns
Through our local church partnerships and our mental health team these free and interactive sessions strengthen fathers in their fatherhood journey to be physically, mentally, and spiritually present for their families.
During a recent session one father stood out when he humbly admitted, “I’m fixing my lapses, correcting my mistakes, and taking care of myself so I can show up better. I want my children to see me as a good father.” The room echoed: “I want to give them all that I can.”
From helping during sleepless nights with newborns to efforts to make their wife laugh, and living out empathy in a season that demanded so much dads are growing into their role of fatherhood. Providing, nurturing, and deepening their walk with Jesus.
May your hearts be encouraged today that the impact is GREAT! To mothers, to fathers and to a generation that the Lord is raising up to glorify Him we are forever thankful to Jesus and thankful for you. Certainly in June we were honored to witness HIS good work in families and generations in Cebu! Thank You for bringing value to over 7,000 precious lives! His Glory is being Re-born!
