Retreat 2016: Glory to Glory

It was our end of summer annual staff retreat. We were so blessed to have two days with each group of our staff, one day for our leaders and an entire day and night together as an entire group of over 40 staff! We were touched that even the doctors we work with came for bonding, prayer and planning for the steps ahead as we continue to grow from “Glory to Glory”. There were games, synchronized swimming competitions (is there anything our staff cannot do?!), lots of laughter and some wonderfully sweet time spent together in God’s presence praying, encouraging, and loving HIM and one another.

When we asked feedback from our staff these are just a few of their comments:

I felt like I heard from God for the first time and I am confident that I belong!

I enjoyed the fellowship with all my coworkers and felt relaxed and de-stressed.

I appreciated seeing co-workers work together and extend forgiveness and unity.

We praise God for each of our team members that work so hard to serve the marginalized both in and outside of our clinic and we thank you for helping us invest in them this month. Thank you for giving them time to refresh, relax, and receive of the Lord’s goodness.

We also want to thank our Ministry team leader Luke, our HR staff, our general manager and our guests from Australia, Barbara and Christine, who planned, prepared, served, shared, ministered, and invested in our staff so beautifully. We are thankful for the body of Christ working together. We are refreshed and ready to continue on our mission for Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies, and Hopeful Hearts in Cebu.
